Outdoors East Texas Wedding and Special Events Venue

Are you planning an East Texas wedding? Hidden Creek Estate is your perfect venue! Twenty-five acres of photogenic gardens, ponds, creeks and thousands of trees come together with an outdoors amphitheater, a steel barn and an historic mansion to create the ideal backdrop for an outdoor wedding.

Hidden Creek Estate is located in Gladewater, Texas and is a convenient distance from Tyler, Big Sandy, Longview, Kilgore, Gilmer and Mount Pleasant.

The mansion at Hidden Creek Estate was built in 1936 by Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Bradley. They chose a Greek Revival architecture design that copied the Nation's White House.

The Bradleys discovered two of the oil fields in East Texas and built a home to rival some of the finest of the times. The home was featured in Architectural Digest in 1942. The columns rise 26 feet above the porch. It features a slate roof, copper gutters, basement, plaster walls, three fireplaces, and the finest woodwork and molding available at the time.

Hidden Creek Estate

Frank and Melissa Keathley purchased the home in 2004 and began a restoration project of the home, property and other dwellings located at the site. They gave the name of Hidden Creek Estate to the property having noted the hidden creek that runs through the thousands of trees on the property. The landscaping is kept healthy with 200 underground sprinkler heads and a well fed watering system.

The Barn is a great reception venue

The two-storey steel barn features a large open area suitable for indoor activities such as receptions or barn dances. It has a concrete floor and indoor plumbing for convenience.

Hidden Creek Estate is available for weddings and special events year round. Major credit cards are accepted.
